In fact, the company saw great success in the 90s when hip hop culture adopted its oversized clothing, making it popular among rappers and celebrities. Snoop Dogg's choice to wear an oversized Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt during his appearance on Saturday Night Live in March 1994 sent sales skyrocketing.
